Untitled Document About Whole Living Journal

FROM WLJ's EDITOR, JULY, 2008

Dear Friends of Whole Living Journal,

I am honored and thrilled to be able to continue the publication of this magazine in the format many of our readers have grown to love and trust. We will be offering the same columns, display locations and ad rates. Be sure to look for our next issue; it will be on the stands in September.

Assuming ownership of the magazine has been an amazing process for me. It has felt like being carried along by a wave. Some things are just meant to be, and this certainly feels like one of them.

I have been an avid reader of WLJ since March of 2007 when I first came across an issue of the magazine at Enchanted Moments in Milford. I found myself not only flipping through the pages, but reading
cover to cover, including every ad, and reaching for my pen and highlighter to mark everything that meant something to me. I made it a point to pick up every issue after that and have kept all of them.

A few months ago, I remarked to my husband that I would love to run a magazine like Whole Living Journal. But WLJ already existed. It didn't make sense to have two identical magazines in the same area. Right on the heels of those words came the email from Kathie stating she was suspending publication. I couldn’t believe it!

I immediately sent Kathie a reply saying it must be divine timing and asking if the magazine was for sale. Doors continued to open from that point; the wave continued to carry me along, and here I am today as the new owner and editor.

My very favorite part of WLJ is the way it supports the search for “something more.” There is a sense of depth and connectedness in every issue. Our readers are intelligent, deep thinkers who are passionate about the really important things in life.

WLJ strives to provide our community with a service that will educate, inspire and empower individuals. It offers an advertising platform for businesses who wish to do the same and the Events Calendar as a means of connecting like-minded people in the community.

We love hearing from our readers and advertisers. Please let us know what you enjoy most about WLJ and would like to see in future issues. We look forward to connecting with you and serving our community!

Sincerely,
Tara L. Robinson
